Talanta, 1999Non-destructive, in-situ detection of 10(-3) to 10(-4) M borohydride ions in aqueous alkaline solutions containing borates can be easily and rapidly accomplished by simply measuring open circuit potentials of selected metals (relative to a suitable reference) immersed in these solutions.

Monitoring of enzymatic activity in situ by EPR
Biochemical and Biophysical Research Communications, 1991A novel approach using an EPR method for the determination of activity of enzymes, whose substrates or products are low molecular weight compounds containing SH-groups, is proposed. The approach is based on thiol-disulfide exchange of stable nitroxyl biradical containing a sulfur-sulfur bond with low molecular weight thiol.
