The significance of morphological variation in the finch species on Gough, Inaccessible and Nightingale Islands, South Atlantic Ocean

Uni‐ and multivariate analyses were made of nine morphological characters on three species of finches Nesospiza acunhae (Inaccessible, Nightingale), N. wilkinsi (Nightingale) and Rowettia goughensis (Gough). The results of the univariate analysis were used to test four predictions about morphological changes with altered competitive backgrounds.

Preliminary data for the stock assessments of lobster fisheries around Inaccessible, Gough and Nightingale islands

This document presents the catch and nominal catch per unit effort (CPUE) data available for the lobster (Jasus tristani) fisheries on the outer islands (Inaccessible, Gough and Nightingale). Data sources, calculation of the CPUE indicies and changes to the fishery that may impact consistency of the CPUE time series are also briefly described.
