American Journal of Orthodontics, 1970Abstract The purpose of the present study was to compare two groups of cases selected at random. One group was treated orthodontically and studied years after treatment, and a similar group that was not treated. Each group consisted of twenty-eight patients of whom fifteen were females and thirteen were males.

A Report of Treatment of a Fused Permanent Central Incisor and Supplemental Lateral Incisor
Dental Update, 2008A 9-year-old boy presented with a fused maxillary right permanent central incisor and displacement of the right permanent lateral incisor palatally. An unerupted supplemental maxillary left permanent lateral incisor was noted radiographically. The maxillary fused right permanent central incisor was sectioned under general anaesthesia.
