Incoherent control of protein conformational state
Chemical Physics Letters, 1998Abstract The peaks in the temperature-derivative spectra of horse myoglobin-CO are simulated for two cooling protocols: in the dark and under illumination. The appropriate Smoluchowski equations for both cooling/preparation and heating/monitoring steps are solved for parameters previously obtained by fitting the transient isothermal binding kinetics.

Coherent and incoherent laser control of photochemical reactions
International Reviews in Physical Chemistry, 1994Abstract Coherent radiative control provides a quantum-interference-based method for controlling molecular dynamics. This theory is reviewed and applications to a variety of processes including photodissociation, asymmetric synthesis and the control of currents in semiconductors are discussed.

Incoherent optical control of pulse propagation and compression
Physical Review A, 2012We present an experimental study of temporal retardation combined with temporal compression of weak laser pulses. The effect is optically controlled by the presence of another light pulse, although no coherent control is required. Probe pulse delays up to 13 ns and maximum compression factor of 3 were observed using few-ns-long laser pulses.

ACTIVE NOISE CONTROL OF AN INCOHERENT LINE SOURCE
Journal of Sound and Vibration, 1998In this paper the outdoor active noise control of the sound pressure created by an incoherent line source is studied. Such a source is a model for the noise generated by road traffic or by trains and consists of a continuous distribution of uncorrelated point sources.

Performance Control of Incoherent Synchronous PPM-OCDMA Networks
2019 2nd IEEE Middle East and North Africa COMMunications Conference (MENACOMM), 2019In this paper, the structure of an incoherent synchronous optical encoding–decoding technique utilizing Optical Code Division Multiple Access (OCDMA) network is introduced. Such technique is called Time Domain Encoding (TDE), which is based on Optical Delay Lines (ODLs). The paper analyzes the performance of OCDMA Bit Error Rate (BER) for different new

Control of self-pumped phase-conjugate reflectivity using incoherent erasure
Optics Letters, 1990We use an incoherent erase beam to control optical chaos and to increase the phase-conjugate reflectivity in a self-pumped phase-conjugate mirror. Focused and large-area incoherent illumination was used to modify or eliminate selected gratings in the crystal.

Incoherent Light As a Control Resource
Research in Optical Sciences, 2012We discuss the use of incoherent light as a resource for controlling the atomic dynamics and review the method for engineering arbitrary pure and mixed atomic states using a special combination of incoherent and coherent light.

In this paper, an incoherent control scheme for accomplishing the state control of a class of quantum systems which have wavefunction-controllable subspaces is proposed. This scheme includes the following two steps: projective measurement on the initial state and learning control in the wavefunction-controllable subspace.

Incoherent Optical Quality Control Of Radiographic Grids
Optical Engineering, 1981The radiographic grid is an array of high atomic number blades interleaved with relatively transparent ones. The radiograph of a grid is a grating having a square wave transmittance function. If two such radiographs are superposed in a convenient way and looked at on a film viewer, moire fringes appear.

Incoherent control of topological charges in nonequilibrium polariton condensates
Physical Review B, 2016We study stability and switching dynamics of topological dislocations forming in a nonequilibrium polariton condensate sustained by an incoherent ring-shaped optical pump. In particular, we report on an elegant method for creation of vortices with predefined angular momenta by means of a purely incoherent (off-resonant) elliptically-shaped control beam.
