Excited State Opto‐Ionic Reservoir Computing in Hybrid Perovskite Electrochemically‐Gated Luminescent Cells

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, Volume 38, Issue 14, 6 March 2026.
A neuromorphic computing system exploiting opto‐ionic modulation in lead halide perovskite microcrystals demonstrates high‐dimensional reservoir dynamics with diffraction‐limited node resolution. Leveraging ultrafast excited‐state interactions, it achieves efficient computation (800 pJ/node‐operation), robustly distinguishing 4‐bit pulse sequences ...

Emergent Freestanding Complex Oxide Membranes for Multifunctional Applications

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, Volume 38, Issue 16, 17 March 2026.
This review surveys freestanding oxide membranes and covers fabrication and three pathways for studies and devices: strain‐free and strained membranes, and van der Waals‐integrated heterostructures. We show how coupled oxide responses map onto these routes and cross‐couple to expand behaviors.

Impact of Strongly Correlated Conduction Electrons on the Functional Properties of the Transparent Conducting Oxide SrVO3

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Interfaces, Volume 13, Issue 5, 4 March 2026.
ABSTRACT Electronic correlations and chemical disorder play a pivotal role in the emerging class of perovskite transparent conducting oxides (TCOs). These materials exhibit charge carrier densities typical of metals, yet achieve optical transparency through the enhanced effective mass, which shifts the plasma frequency beyond the visible range. In this

Versatile Control of Spectral Emissivity in Mid‐Infrared Metasurfaces via Silicon Microstructuring

open access: yesAdvanced Optical Materials, Volume 14, Issue 10, 13 March 2026.
A family of metasurfaces is obtained very simply, solely through the structuration of a single‐crystal silicon surface, without any other material involved. Based on the infrared plasmonic behavior of highly doped silicon, further control of surface topography by micro‐ and nano‐structuration is found to enable an avenue of options toward tailoring its
