Fragility by elastic incoherent neutron scattering
The Journal of Chemical Physics, 2004The present work furnishes an operative definition for the fragility degree by using elastic incoherent neutron scattering (EINS). Such a definition is based on the relation between viscosity, a macroscopic quantity, and the atomic mean-square displacement, which refers to a nanoscopic property.

Incoherent Electron−Phonon Scattering in Octanethiols
Nano Letters, 2004We investigate the influence of molecular vibrations on the tunneling of electrons through an octane-thiolate sandwiched between two gold contacts. The coherent and incoherent tunneling currents are computed using the non-equilibrium Green's functions formalism.

Depolarization criterion for incoherent scattering
Applied Optics, 1992We consider the problem of establishing conditions on a given Mueller matrix that ensure that the scattered light is purely polarized independently of the incident light polarization. It is shown that physically realizable Mueller matrices can be decomposed into a nondepolarizing part and an inputindependent additive depolarizing part.
