Efficient two‐photon resonant Raman scattering (TRRS) is observed in the layered perovskite (PEA)2PbI4, with the biexciton level acting as an intermediate state. TRRS undergoes two‐photon frequency shift upon input frequency tuning, persists up to 90 K, and shows clear threshold behavior and polarization selection rules.

Bistability in Microcavities with Incoherent Optical or Electrical Excitation
We consider a quantum well embedded in a zero-dimensional microcavity with a sub-wavelength grated mirror, where the x-linearly polarized exciton mode is strongly coupled to the cavity photon, while y-polarized excitons remain in the weak coupling regime.

Opportunities of Semiconducting Oxide Nanostructures as Advanced Luminescent Materials in Photonics
The review discusses the challenges of wide and ultrawide bandgap semiconducting oxides as a suitable material platform for photonics. They offer great versatility in terms of tuning microstructure, native defects, doping, anisotropy, and micro‐ and nano‐structuring. The review focuses on their light emission, light‐confinement in optical cavities, and

The spin-dependent nd scattering length - a proposed high-accuracy measurement
The understanding of few-nucleon systems at low energies is essential, e.g. for accurate predictions of element abundances in big-bang and stellar fusion.

Source localization in random acoustic waveguides [PDF]
Mode coupling due to scattering by weak random inhomogeneities in waveguides leads to loss of coherence of wave fields at long distances of propagation. This in turn leads to serious deterioration of coherent source localization methods, such as matched ...

Surface Reordering During Layer‐by‐Layer Growth on SrTiO3
Surface structures (left) derived from DFT‐constrained fitting to crystal truncation rods measured by synchrotron X‐ray scattering (right) after each monolayer of deposition during the MBE growth of SrTiO3${\rm SrTiO}_{3}$ (001). The bottom panel shows the bare substrate, the middle panel shows island formation upon deposition of a single layer of SrO,

Exclusive J/Ψ,ρ,ϕ and γ production at HERA and LHC within dipole models
We describe exclusive J/ψ,ρ,Φ and γ production at HERA and calculate cross sections and transverse momentum distributions for the incoherent diffractive production of vector mesons J/ψ and γ on heavy nuclei.
