A priori estimates for the stream function of a 2D incompressible, inviscid fluid

Nonlinear Analysis: Theory, Methods & Applications, 1997
The authors consider the Euler equations governing the two-dimensional motion of an incompressible inviscid fluid and estimate the Besov-Sobolev norm \(\|\psi_t\|_{L^p_{-s}}\) of the time derivative of the streamfunction \(\psi\) through the \(L_2\)-norm of the initial velocity.

The Momentum Equation for the Steady Flow of an Inviscid Incompressible Fluid

1988
Newton’s second law of motion: $${\rm{force = rate}}\;{\rm{of}}\;{\rm{change}}\;{\rm{of}}\;{\rm{momentum}}$$ , or $$F = {{\rm{d}} \over {{\rm{d}}t}}(mu)$$ .

Motion of Two Rotating Parallel Cylinders In an Incompressible Inviscid Fluid

Journal of the Physical Society of Japan, 1974
The motion of two rotating circular cylinders is investigated as a model of two vortex tubes. The case in which the radii of the cylinders are much smaller than their mutual distance is considered, and the flow field around a cylinder induced by another is approximated by that induced by a line vortex.

Hydrodynamics of deformable contiguous spherical shapes in an incompressible inviscid fluid

Journal of Engineering Mathematics, 1977
An exact solution to the two-body interaction problem is presented for the case of spherical shapes moving in an incompressible and inviscid fluid. The spheres are assumed to translate in an arbitrary manner and to undergo radial deformation (or pulsation).

Non-linear asymptotic stability for the through-passing flows of inviscid incompressible fluid

Asymptotic Analysis, 2010
The paper addresses the dynamics of inviscid incompressible fluid confined within bounded domain with the inflow and outflow of fluid through certain parts of the boundary. This system is non-conservative essentially since the fluxes of energy and vorticity through the flow boundary are not equal to zero.
