Theory of exciton spectra of incompressible quantum liquids
Physical Review B, 1995Energy and optical spectra of excitons against a background of incompressible quantum liquids (IQL's) are investigated by finite-size computations in a spherical geometry and by symmetry arguments based on the composite fermion theory. Properties of excitons are governed by the parameter h/l, where h is a separation between electron and hole ...

Interaction of excitons with an incompressible quantum liquid
Physical Review B, 1992Some general properties of exciton spectra of an interacting two-dimensional electron-hole system have been established. In the quantum limit both the frequencies and the matrix elements of exciton transitions are independent of environment, i.e., of filling factors of electrons and holes, if all the electron-hole interactions are equal in magnitude, ${

Dynamic Analysis of Incompressible Viscous Liquids
Journal of Applied Mechanics, 1979A Lagrangian finite-element analysis technique is presented for two-dimensional plane strain problems involving time-dependent incompressible flow of viscous liquids. The incompressibility feature is obtained with an iterative procedure which adjusts the nodal velocities until the anticipated volumetric strains are within specified limits.

Stability of a liquid jet into incompressible gases and liquids
International Journal of Multiphase Flow, 2004Summary: We carry out an analysis of the stability of a liquid jet into a gas or another liquid using viscous potential flow. The instability may be driven by Kelvin-Helmholtz KH instability due to a velocity difference and a neckdown due to capillary instability.

Surface Factor in Incompressible Liquid Film Flow
Journal of Engineering Physics and Thermophysics, 2004The results of investigation of the influence of a solid surface on the film flow of a viscous incompressible liquid in a gravitational field are analyzed. Using the dimensional method, a generalized similarity criterion for a film flow has been obtained.

Turbulent vortex couple in an incompressible liquid
Fluid Dynamics, 1977The automodel problem of the motion of a turbulent vortex couple and the transfer of heat by the latter is solved numerically. The singularities of the resultant solutions are analyzed for various rates of change of the turbulent viscosity coefficient.

High Order Bubble Dynamics in Incompressible Liquid
Journal of Heat Transfer, 2015A semi-analytical approximation to the solution of the radial Fourier equation describing liquid temperature dynamics in the vicinity of a spherical bubble is presented. This approximation opens a possibility to construct a computationally efficient bubble model that is flexible enough to simulate different bubble dynamics behavior like bubble growth ...
