Wellposedness for density-dependent incompressible viscous fluids on the torus $\T^3$ [PDF]
We investigate the local wellposedness of incompressible inhomogeneous Navier-Stokes equations on the Torus $\T^3$, with initial data in the critical Besov spaces. Under some smallness assumption on the velocity in the critical space $B^{\frac{1}{2}}\_{2,

Extensive tip-splitting of injected organic liquid into an aqueous viscoelastic fluid
The injection of a fluid into another fluid causes a spatiotemporal pattern along the injection front. Viscous fingering is a well-known example when the replaced material is a viscous fluid. Notably, most fluids are, in reality, viscoelastic, i.e., they

Fine Grid Numerical Solutions of Triangular Cavity Flow
Numerical solutions of 2-D steady incompressible flow inside a triangular cavity are presented. For the purpose of comparing our results with several different triangular cavity studies with different triangle geometries, a general triangle mapped onto a

Hydrogel‐Based Airway‐on‐Tube With Perfusable Endothelial Lumen and Outward Epithelialization
A hydrogel‐based airway‐on‐tube platform featuring a perfusable endothelial lumen and outward epithelialization is presented. The system supports primary human bronchial epithelial and lung microvascular endothelial coculture under air‐liquid interface conditions.

In this paper, we study the steady creeping convective flow of a viscous incompressible fluid in the thin infinite layer. The study of the fluid flow is based on the exact solutions class for the Oberbeck-Boussinesq equations in the Stokes approximation ...

Topological Point Defects in SmC* Liquid Crystals Under Mechanical Disturbance
Tangetial air jet shear inducess island formation and nucleates topological point defects in uniform SmC films. Island bounded by edge dislocation loops shrink and transform into isolated point defects under continued shear. Mechanical perturbatio provides a controllable route for defect engineering in smectric liquid crystal thin films.

Passive Shape‐Adaptive Fluidic Interface for Enhanced Skin‐Sensor Coupling in Wearable Devices
This study presents a passive fluidic interface for wearable biosensors that adapts to static and dynamic body shape changes to maintain consistent skin contact. Flexible, fluid‐filled pouches redistribute pressure from high‐load areas to regions requiring improved contact, enhancing signal quality and comfort in a compact, low‐energy design for ...

Inviscid Criterion for Decomposing Scales
The proper scale decomposition in flows with significant density variations is not as straightforward as in incompressible flows, with many possible ways to define a `length-scale.' A choice can be made according to the so-called \emph{inviscid criterion}
