Tissue‐Stimulator Platform for Electrically Stimulating Pancreatic β‐Cells for Long‐Term Functional Regulation

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
We present a tissue‐stimulator platform for seamless electrode integration with pancreatic tissue, applying uniform electrical stimulation through optimized design with biohybrid 3D printing. Advantageous effects of electrical stimulation on β‐cell function were observed, including enhanced calcium signaling, islet morphology, and maturation.

The Effect of Additive on Pertalite to Increase Motorcycle Fuel Efficiency

open access: yesInternational Journal of Emerging Trends in Engineering Research, 2020
Motorcycle in Indonesia use several types of Pertamina-produced fuel, such as premium (RON 88), Pertalite (RON 90), and Pertamax (RON 92). However, the price of gasoline-based fuels continues to increase there must be innovations to save fuel use. This study measures the level of efficiency between Pertalite mixed with additives with a motorcycle ...
