Whole‐genome sequencing of 1,083 HPV45 cases and controls identifies genetic variants associated with glandular cervical lesions

open access: yesInternational Journal of Cancer, EarlyView.
What's New? Little is known about how genetic variation in human papillomavirus type 45 (HPV45) influences its ability to cause cancer. Here, the authors conducted the largest whole‐genome sequencing study to date of HPV45, looking for associations between viral genetic variation and precancer or cancer risk.

A Reversed Early Warning Methodology for Optimal Bank Profit Retention Recommendations

open access: yesInternational Journal of Finance &Economics, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT This study introduces a calibration method for the newest policy instrument in prudential supervision by endogenising profit retention targets via a reversed early warning system, depending on the supervisors' risk tolerance, the exposure to the economy, and the level of financial pressure.

Rapid and Visual Detection of Mycobacterium tuberculosis Complex Based on Multiplex Recombinase Polymerase Amplification

open access: yesiLABMED, EarlyView.
We developed an on‐site detection platform for rapid detection of Mycobacterium tuberculosis complex (MTBC) based on the IS1081 gene. The platform utilizes real‐time multiplex recombinase polymerase amplification (mRPA) to achieve a reaction time of less than 30 min.

RepliChrom: Interpretable machine learning predicts cancer‐associated enhancer‐promoter interactions using DNA replication timing

open access: yesiMeta, EarlyView.
RepliChrom is an interpretable machine learning model that predicts enhancer‐promoter interactions using DNA replication timing across multiple cell types. By integrating replication timing with chromatin interaction data from multiple experimental platforms, it accurately distinguishes true interactions and reveals promoter‐region signals as key ...

Identification of Priority Areas for Conservation of Threatened Agamid Lizards of Sri Lanka Using Species Distribution Modeling 斯里兰卡濒危蜥蜴 (鬣蜥科) 保护优先区域的识别:基于物种分布模型的研究

open access: yesIntegrative Conservation, EarlyView.
We assessed the distribution of 14 threatened agamid lizard species using Species Distribution Modeling to identify hotspots for these species' conservation. Based on the results, high‐priority areas of threatened agamids were projected to occur specially in the wet zone.

A flexible, channel‐minimized and large‐scale touch position sensor combining contact electrification effect and screen‐printed stagger electrode patterns

open access: yesInfoMat, EarlyView.
In this study, a high‐impedance electrode with a designed stagger pattern is screen‐printed onto various substrates by the screen‐printing technique. Subsequently, a large‐scale triboelectric touch position sensor (LTTPS) is obtained by attaching a dielectric film.
