Seismic Performance of Jacket Type Offshore Platforms Through Incremental Dynamic Analysis

open access: yes, 2010
Fixed offshore platforms in seismic active areas may be subjected to strong ground motions, causing the platform to undergo deformation well into the inelastic range.

Memristor‐Driven Active‐Matrix Organic Light‐Emitting Diode for Energy Efficient and High‐Resolution Displays

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This study demonstrates that memristors can replace conventional 2T–1C driving circuits with simplified 1T–1 m architectures by exploiting resistance switching. With ultra‐low switching voltages (< ±0.2 V) and multi‐level resistance states, the memristors precisely control the current injected into organic light‐emitting diodes (OLEDs).

Seismic Assessment of Informally Designed 2-Floor RC Houses: Lessons from the 2020 Southern Puerto Rico Earthquake Sequence

open access: yesEng
The 2020 southern Puerto Rico earthquake sequence highlighted the severe seismic vulnerability of informally constructed two-story reinforced concrete (RC) houses.

Solution‐Processed Two‐Dimensional Indium Oxide on Sodium‐Embedded Alumina for Reconfigurable Optoelectronic Synaptic Transistors

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Wafer‐scale two‐dimensioanl In2Se3 oxidized into InOx on sodium‐embedded beta‐alumina enables multifunctional reconfigurable electronics. Sodium ions accumulate within distinct spatial distribution under drain‐controlle and gate‐controlled operation. Drain‐control operation gives controllability of ultraviolet‐driven optoelectronic synaptic conductance

Parametric Analysis using Incremental Dynamic Method

open access: yes, 2018
ABSTRACT The objective of this paper is to estimate the performance of the seismic load structure in more detail and to plot a maximum inter-story drift curve of the structure as a function of the intensity level (spectral acceleration), using incremental dynamic analysis which is a parametric analysis method that has emerged recently under different ...

Integrated Field‐Free SOT Domain‐Wall Synapses and MTJ Stochastic Neurons for Hardware Boltzmann Machines

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Field‐free spin‐orbit torque domain‐wall synapses integrated with stochastic MTJ neurons enable compact hardware Boltzmann machines. Leveraging intrinsic stochasticity and multi‐level conductance, the system achieves efficient probabilistic learning with high accuracy, demonstrating a scalable spintronic platform for energy‐efficient edge AI.

Average-case analysis of incremental topological ordering

open access: yes, 2019
Many applications like pointer analysis and incremental compilation require maintaining a topological ordering of the nodes of a directed acyclic graph (DAG) under dynamic updates.

Nonlinear static vs. Incremental dynamic analysis of infilled frames with open first floor [PDF]

open access: yesGrađevinski Materijali i Konstrukcije, 2018
Masonry infill, as a part of building structures, is characterised with significant in-plane strength and stiffness and it can greatly alter the response of structures exposed to seismic loads. Irregular distribution of infill in plane and along building
