Incremental validity in underwater adaptation and performance
Personality and Individual Differences, 2014Although the increase of validity is a topic already verified in academic and job performance, we use a criterion rarely referred to in the evaluation of the predictive importance of psychological traits. In order to clarify the relevance of cognitive and non-cognitive traits in the underwater environment, we have analyzed the contribution of ...

Towards Incremental Validation of Railway Systems
2016We propose to formally model requirements and interoperability constraints among components of a railway system to enable automated, incremental analysis and validation mechanisms. The goal is to provide the basis for a technology that can drastically reduce the time and cost for certification by making it possible to trace changes from requirements ...

Validating the EMGFT from a Single Incremental Cycling Test
International Journal of Sports Medicine, 2013The purposes of this study were to (1) identify the EMG(FT) from a single incremental cycle ergometry test and (2) validate this fatigue threshold by having participants perform constant workload rides at 70, 100 and 130% of the estimated EMG(FT). 11 healthy college-age participants performed incremental cycle ergometry on the initial visit.
