Indefinite Delivery–Indefinite Quantity Contracting

Transportation Research Record: Journal of the Transportation Research Board, 2014
Indefinite delivery–indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contracts permit a transportation agency to award multiple job orders to a single contractor or a small group of competing contractors; this method eliminates the need to conduct a full procurement for every small construction or maintenance project.

Indefinite Quadratic Forms

Proceedings of the London Mathematical Society, 1987
Let Q be a quadratic form, \(Q=L^ 2_ 1+... +L^ 2_ r-... -L^ 2_ n\) where \(L_ 1,...,L_ n\) are real linearly independent quadratic forms. If \(n=18\), \(r=9\); \(n=19\), \(8\leq r\leq 11\); or \(n=20\), \(7\leq r\leq 13\), then we can solve \(| Q(x)| 0\). This extends work of Davenport, Birch and Ridout.

The overwhelming majority of English nouns are considered neuter, and "it" serves as the appropriate pronoun, with a definite reference.

Indefinite QR Factorization

BIT Numerical Mathematics, 2006
Let $A$ be a Hermitian positive definite matrix given by its rectangular factor $G$ such that $A = G^{; ; ; \ast}; ; ; G$. It is well known that the Cholesky factorization of $A$ is equivalent to the QR factorization of $G$. In this paper, an analogue of the QR factorization for Hermitian indefinite matrices is constructed.
