A Generalized Framework for Data‐Efficient and Extrapolative Materials Discovery for Gas Separation
This study introduces an iterative supervised machine learning framework for metal‐organic framework (MOF) discovery. The approach identifies over 97% of the best performing candidates while using less than 10% of available data. It generalizes across diverse MOF databases and gas separation scenarios.

Rational Choice and the Relevance of Irrelevant Alternatives [PDF]
This experimental study investigates the inuence of irrelevant or phantom al- ternatives on subjects' choices in sequential decision making. Using experimental data from 45 subjects, we found that irrelevant alternatives bear significant rele- vance for ...

Review of Memristors for In‐Memory Computing and Spiking Neural Networks
Memristors uniquely enable energy‐efficient, brain‐inspired computing by acting as both memory and synaptic elements. This review highlights their physical mechanisms, integration in crossbar arrays, and role in spiking neural networks. Key challenges, including variability, relaxation, and stochastic switching, are discussed, alongside emerging ...

Here, we present RanBALL, an ensemble random projection‐based model for accurate and cost‐effective identification of B‐cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia subtypes is presented. By preserving patient‐to‐patient distance after dimension reduction by random projection and ensemble learning, RanBALL can facilitate the discovery of B‐ALL subtype‐specific ...

Weak independence of irrelevant alternatives and generalized Nash bargaining solutions
In Nash's (1950) seminal result, independence of irrelevant alternatives (IIA) plays a central role, but it has long been a subject of criticism in axiomatic bargaining theory. This paper examines the implication of a weak version of IIA in multi-valued bargaining solutions defined on non-convex bargaining problems. We show that if a solution satisfies
