Compressed Key Sort and Fast Index Reconstruction [PDF]
In this paper we propose an index key compression scheme based on the notion of distinction bits by proving that the distinction bits of index keys are sufficient information to determine the sorted order of the index keys correctly. While the actual compression ratio may vary depending on the characteristics of datasets (an average of 2.76 to one ...

Weak index pairs and the Conley index for discrete multivalued dynamical systems [PDF]
Motivated by the problem of reconstructing dynamics from samples we revisit the Conley index theory for discrete multivalued dynamical systems. We introduce a new, less restrictive definition of the isolating neighbourhood. It turns out that then the main tool for the construction of the index, i.e. the index pair, is no longer useful.

New boundes for Sombor index of Graphs [PDF]
In this paper, we find some bounds for the Sombor index of the graph G by triangle inequality, arithmetic index, geometric index, forgotten index (F(G)), arithmetic-geometric (AG) index, geometric-arithmetic (GA) index, symmetric division deg index (SDD(G)) and some central and dispersion indices.

We introduce the concept of Steinness index related to the Stein neighborhood basis. We then show several results: (1) The existence of Steinness index is equivalent to that of strong Stein neighborhood basis. (2) On the Diederich-Forn{\ae}ss worm domains in particular, we present an explicit formula relating the Steinness index to the well-known ...
