Assessment of Five Chilling Tolerance Traits and GWAS Mapping in Rice Using the USDA Mini-Core Collection [PDF]
Rice (Oryza sativa L.) is often exposed to cool temperatures during spring planting in temperate climates. A better understanding of genetic pathways regulating chilling tolerance will enable breeders to develop varieties with improved tolerance during ...

Wide crossing diversify mitogenomes of rice
Background In most angiosperms, the inheritance of the mitochondria takes place in a typical maternal manner. However, very less information is available about if the existence of structural variations or not in mitochondrial genomes (mitogenomes ...

Long‐Term Elevated CO2 Improves Soil Health and Rice Yields in Paddy Fields
Combining the two longest‐running rice free‐air CO2 enrichment experiments with a global data synthesis, this study demonstrates that long‐term elevated CO2 consistently enhances soil health. In rice paddies, this improvement sustains the CO2 fertilization effect over decades.
