Production and characterization of polyclonal antibody against Bengal tiger (Panthera tigris tigris) immunoglobulin G

open access: yesJournal of Applied Animal Research, 2019
The immunoglobulin G (IgG) antibody is important for detecting and evaluating immune responses. Despite increasing opportunities for tigers to be exposed to emerging diseases due to global changes coupled with increasing interaction with humans, there is

Discovery and Targeted Proteomic Studies Reveal Striatal Markers Validated for Huntington's Disease

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective Clinical trials for Huntington's disease (HD) enrolling persons before clinical motor diagnosis (CMD) lack validated biomarkers. This study aimed to conduct an unbiased discovery analysis and a targeted examination of proteomic biomarkers scrutinized by clinical validation. Methods Cerebrospinal fluid was obtained from PREDICT‐HD and

ALDOA Promotes Glycolysis and NLRP3/GSDMD Pyroptosis to Accelerate ALS Progression

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) is characterized by progressive motor neuron degeneration. Glycolytic dysregulation is implicated in disease progression, yet the underlying mechanisms remain unclear. This study investigates how Aldolase A (ALDOA) drives ALS progression through glycolysis‐mediated motor neuron pyroptosis.

[18F]Fluorodeprenyl‐D2 PET as a Tool to Monitor Disease Activity in GAD65‐Ab Autoimmune Encephalitis

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective To evaluate [18F]fluorodeprenyl‐D2 ([18F]F‐DED) positron‐emission tomography (PET) imaging as a biomarker of disease activity in autoimmune encephalitis (AIE) associated with glutamic acid decarboxylase 65 (GAD65) antibodies. Methods [18F]F‐DED PET was performed in 25 GAD65‐AIE patients and 8 controls using dynamic (0–60 min) and ...

Development of an Indirect Competitive ELISA of DDT

open access: yesFood and Agricultural Immunology, 2002
Indirect competitive enzyme immunoassays of DDT based on polyclonal antibodies have been developed. The limit of detection and limit of quantification were 0.3 nmol l m 1 and 4.2 nmol l m 1 , respectively. Non-specific interaction was eliminated by the saturation of the solid phase with 2% human serum albumin.
