AN AUTOMATIC LASER FILTER FOR THE INDIRECT OPHTHALMOSCOPE
Retina, 1987We have developed an automatic filter for the indirect ophthalmoscope that protects the physician's eye from potential damage during laser treatment. The laser light is applied through an endolaser probe using indirect ophthalmoscopy.

EYESi ophthalmoscope - a simulator for indirect ophthalmoscopic examinations.
Studies in health technology and informatics, 2009We present a training simulator for indirect ophthalmoscopy. An optical tracking system is used to reconstruct the position of a lens mockup and a model of the patient's face. Refraction and illumination are computed in real-time and displayed on a head-mounted display using augmented reality.

PLEOPTICS BY THE INDIRECT OPHTHALMOSCOPE
Archives of Ophthalmology, 1965To the Editor: With the development of pleoptics came a whole new set of ophthalmic equipment and techniques. One concept which acquired emphasized importance was that of eccentric fixation, and the new equipment provided appropriate means of determining it.

A Binocular Indirect Ophthalmoscope with Upright Fundus Image
Archives of Ophthalmology, 1958One of the greatest obstacles in learning indirect ophthalmoscopy is the inverted image. Not only must one think in terms of the inverted fundus image but also one must learn to move opposite to the direction which seems natural and which has been learned in direct ophthalmoscopy.

[A new indirect binocular spectacle ophthalmoscope].
Klinische Monatsblatter fur Augenheilkunde, 1982A new indirect spectacle ophthalmoscope is described. Its main features are a fixed interpupillary distance (59, 62, 65, 68 mm.), a variable viewing beam stereoangle, a precentered halogen lighting beam with Maxwellian view and an iris diaphragm to limit the viewing area, which has never been a feature of a binocular ophthalmoscope before.

A small pupil binocular indirect ophthalmoscope.
Annals of ophthalmology, 1978A description of a lightweight small pupil binocular indirect ophthalmoscope is presented. This instrument can be used with well dilated pupils and clear media as any stereoscopic indirect ophthalmoscope. However, the instrument can be simply and easily adjusted for usage in patients with small pupils or opacities of the media.

Optimization of the monocular indirect ophthalmoscope
2012The ophthalmoscope is an important instrument for all optometrists and ophthal- mologists for characterizing the state of health of the eye. In the early 1990s the monocular indirect ophthalmoscope went out of production, and without the on- going support of the manufacturer, the optics of the device can deteriorate over time.
