Fabrication and Characterization of Indium Tin Oxide Films [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Applied Biomaterials & Functional Materials, 2017
Background Transparent conducting oxide (TCO) films are of particular interest in the field of optoelectronics, due to the requirement for transparent electrodes in applications such as organic light-emitting diodes, solar cells and so on. The aim of this study was to obtain a better understanding of the effects of preparation temperature on indium tin

Universal conductance fluctuations in indium tin oxide nanowires

open access: yes, 2012
Magnetic field dependent universal conductance fluctuations (UCF's) are observed in weakly disordered indium tin oxide nanowires from 0.26 K up to $\sim 25$ K. The fluctuation magnitudes increase with decreasing temperature, reaching a fraction of $e^2/h$

19.2% Efficient InP Heterojunction Solar Cell with Electron-Selective TiO2 Contact. [PDF]

open access: yes, 2014
We demonstrate an InP heterojunction solar cell employing an ultrathin layer (∼10 nm) of amorphous TiO2 deposited at 120 °C by atomic layer deposition as the transparent electron-selective contact.

Composition and Resulting Band Alignment at the TiO2/InP Heterointerface: A Fundamental Study Combining Photoemission Spectroscopy and Theory

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
The chemical composition and band alignment are systematically investigated at the TiO2/InP heterointerface. Thin TiO2 films are deposited by ALD on atomically ordered, P‐terminated p‐InP(100). By combining UPS, XPS, and ab initio molecular dynamics, the atomistic structure and electronic alignment are revealed.

Surface Modification of Indium Tin Oxide Nanoparticles to Improve Its Distribution in Epoxy-Silica Polymer Matrix [PDF]

open access: yesعلوم و تکنولوژی پلیمر, 2014
A semiconducting nanoparticle indium tin oxide (ITO) was modified with silane groups and for this purpose trimethoxysilane (TMOS) precursor was used under specific experimental conditions for surface modification of ITO nanoparticles.

Organosilane-functionalization of nanostructured indium tin oxide films [PDF]

open access: yesInterface Focus, 2016
Fabrication and organosilane-functionalization and characterization of nanostructured ITO electrodes are reported. Nanostructured ITO electrodes were obtained by electron beam evaporation, and a subsequent annealing treatment was selectively performed to modify their crystalline state.

Z‐Scheme Water Splitting Systems Based on Solid‐State Electron Conductors

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This review examines the latest advances in Z‐scheme overall water splitting (OWS) systems for solar hydrogen production. These systems consist of suspended or immobilized hydrogen evolution photocatalysts (HEPs) and oxygen evolution photocatalysts (OEPs).

Fluorine doped tin oxide as an alternative of indium tin oxide for bottom electrode of semi-transparent organic photovoltaic devices

open access: yesAIP Advances, 2019
Indium tin oxide (ITO) is commonly used as the transparent bottom electrode for organic solar cells. However, it is known that the cost of the ITO is quite high due to the indium element, and in some studies ITO coated glass substrate is found to be the ...

Pulmonary effects of exposure to indium and its compounds: cross-sectional survey of exposed workers and experimental findings in rodents

open access: yesParticle and Fibre Toxicology, 2022
Background Many studies have shown that occupational exposure to indium and its compounds could induce lung disease. Although animal toxicological studies and human epidemiological studies suggest indium exposure may cause lung injury, inflammation ...
