IMPACT OF TIBETAN PLATEAU SNOW COVER ON ABRUPT INTERDECADAL PRECIPITATION CHANGE OVER THE INDOCHINA PENINSULA IN THE MID-1990S [PDF]
Abrupt interdecadal changes in summer precipitation (May – September) over the Indochina Peninsula in the past 40 years have been investigated based on the NCEP-NCAR reanalysis product over 1979–2013 and multiple precipitation datasets. The mechanism for

New records of the caddisflies Diplectrona erinya Malicky, 2002 and Diplectrona extrema Banks, 1920 (Trichoptera, Hydropsychidae) from Thailand [PDF]
The distributions of Diplectrona erinya Malicky, 2002 and Diplectrona extrema Banks, 1920 are somewhat limited. Diplectrona extrema has been known in some areas of the Indochina Peninsula archipelago and D.

Onset of the Rainy Seasons in the Eastern Indochina Peninsula
Abstract The onset dates of rainy season over the eastern Indochina Peninsula (8.5°–23.5°N, 100°–110°E) are objectively determined for individual years from 1958 to 2007 using the empirical orthogonal function (EOF) analysis. On average, the onset of the summer rainy season (SRS) determined by EOF1 is 6 May, with a standard deviation of ...

Tectonic deformation of the Indochina Peninsula recorded in the Mesozoic palaeomagnetic results [PDF]
SUMMARY In order to describe features of tectonic deformation in the Indochina Peninsula, Early Jurassic to Early Cretaceous red sandstones were sampled at three localities in the Shan-Thai and Indochina blocks. Stepwise thermal treatment of most samples revealed the presence of characteristic remanent magnetization, which is generally unblocked by ...

Dendroclimatic Potential of Fokienia Trees in the Indochina Peninsula.
