Control indoor climate

2017 8th International Conference on Information, Intelligence, Systems & Applications (IISA), 2017
This article describes the models of management climate in the room. Models belonging to the same class can handle a variety of microclimatic factors, depending on the needs of employees to determine the microclimate conditions. The article presents the neural network based schemes systems, fuzzy logic and neuro-fuzzy modeling, genetic algorithms.

Indoor climate

Experientia, 1993
In industrialized countries most of the time is spent indoors. The basic ambient parameters for a thermally comfortable indoor climate are air temperature, air velocity, humidity and radiation pattern. Besides the thermal component, the concentrations of air pollutants in the indoor air are also of importance for wellbeing and health.

Modified anemometers for indoor climate research

Journal of Physics E: Scientific Instruments, 1976
An anemometer which was developed for indoor climate research has been modified in order to get the same shape of calibration curve for each anemometer. Experiments in a wind tunnel showed that this was the case for more than 80% of a test series of the modified anemometers. The time constant has increased but is still acceptable.

Indoor Climate and Indoor Air Quality in Residential Buildings

Indoor Air, 1993
In buildings which were built within the last 15 to 20 years, or which have been retrofitted, and which do notfeature a mechanical ventilation system, air changes between 0.01 h−1 and 0.5 h−1 were measured while windows were closed. In the bedrooms of such buildings, when doors and windows were closed, CO2 concentrations of up to 4300 ppm were measured

Application of an integrated indoor climate, HVAC and showcase model for the indoor climate performance of a museum

Energy and Buildings, 2008
This paper presents a case study on the performance based design of a HVAC system and controller of a museum. A famous museum in The Netherlands has reported possible damage to important preserved wallpaper fragments. The paper provides an evaluation of the current indoor climate by measurements, showing that the indoor climate performance does not ...

Comfort requirements in indoor climate

Energy and Buildings, 1988
Abstract An analysis of the important factors for comfort in indoor climate is given. For the thermal complex, the results from calculations of the energy balance model MEMI are used to quantify the effects of the single meteorological parameters on occupants in indoor climate.

Application of a combined indoor climate and HVAC model for the indoor climate performance of a museum

Restoration of Buildings and Monuments, 2006
A famous museum in the Netherlands has reported possible damage to important preserved wall paper fragments. The purpose of this paper is to evaluate the current indoor climate performance by measurements and to evaluate possible solutions by modeling and simulation. The modeling methodology was as follows.
