Interactive Pedestrian Indoor Localization
This thesis focuses on the improvement of pedestrian indoor localization systems through user interactions. First, a hybrid localization system for mobile devices which relies on multiple sensors is developed. It forms the basis for the design and implementation of interactions between the user and the system that aim to increase the localization ...

Experimental methods for wind tunnel studies of seed dispersal by wind
Abstract The complexity and variability of natural environments make quantitative studies of seed wind dispersal challenging. Wind tunnel experiments offer a controlled alternative to investigate the mechanisms of seed wind dispersal. This review focuses on wind tunnels and the associated technologies used for studying seed wind dispersal, including ...

Enhancement of Modulation Bandwidth for VLC Utilizing Green Mini‐LED Light Source
This paper investigates three sizes of green Mini‐LEDs for visible light communication, focusing on modulation bandwidth and the impact of atomic layer deposition (ALD) sidewall passivation. ALD significantly enhances bandwidth (up to 21.6%), confirming suppression of nonradiative recombination.
