Laboratory, simulated‐use, and field evaluation of non‐insecticidal consumer products for indoor pest management: a freeze‐spray aerosol, light traps, and an ‘insect repellent’ lamp

open access: yesPest Management Science, EarlyView.
Control efficacy of three types of non‐insecticidal consumer products were examined in laboratory, simulated‐use, and field conditions. Freeze spray and ‘repellent lamp’ showed limited efficacy, whereas various results in attraction in light trap were reported.

Stair‐Climbing Wheelchairs for Enhanced Mobility: A Comprehensive Review of Fundamental Mechanisms, Design Concepts, and Performance Analysis

open access: yesJournal of Field Robotics, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT People with physical disabilities face significant mobility challenges while climbing uneven surfaces and staircases. In these circumstances, traditional wheelchairs do not provide stable, safely controlled mobility, underscoring the importance of building superior stair‐climbing wheelchairs for both medical and infrastructure purposes.

Design of a Novel Gripping Mechanism and Dual Manipulator Robotic System for Apple Harvesting Using Tractor

open access: yesJournal of Field Robotics, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT The architecture of apple orchards can be converted to easier operation by implementing the use of a low‐cost, tractor‐mounted, dual manipulator based on a robotic harvesting system with lower degrees of freedom (DoF). To accurately avoid injuries by detecting apples, an efferent, real‐time vision system that includes a new gripping mechanism ...
