Influence of electric potential-induced by atmospheric pressure plasma on cell response
Plasma irradiation leads not only active species, but also reactive chemical species, ultraviolet light, electric fields, magnetic fields, and shock waves. To date the effects of reactive chemical species have been mainly discussed.

Site dependence of ultrasonically induced electrical potentials in bone [PDF]
The success rate of low-intensity pulsed ultrasound (LIPUS) therapy depends on the bone site. However, the initial mechanism of physical stimulation by ultrasound and bone cellular response remains unclear. One possible physical stimulation is the induced electrical potentials due to the piezoelectricity. In this study, the output electrical potentials

Annihilation of action potentials induces electrical coupling between neurons
Abstract Neurons generate and propagate electrical pulses called action potentials which annihilate on arrival at the axon terminal. We measure the extracellular electric field generated by propagating and annihilating action potentials and find that on annihilation, action potentials expel a local discharge.

A Potential-Based Formulation for Motion-Induced Electric Fields in MRI
This paper presents a potential-based formulation conceived to estimate the electric field induced in a human body moving through the stray stationary magnetic field produced by magnetic resonance scanners. Two different descriptions are adopted, giving rise to two different driving terms, and the corresponding electromagnetic problems are solved ...

Design and Numerical Study of Micropump Based on Induced Electroosmotic Flow
Induced charge electroosmotic flow is a new electric driving mode. Based on the Navier–Stokes equations and the Poisson–Nernst–Planck (PNP) ion transport equations, the finite volume method is adopted to calculate the equations and boundary conditions of
