An optimizing microseismic method for rock burst early warning based on mining production process
A classification early warning method of rock burst based on hourly microseismic data is proposed, which can be combined with the on‐site production process to provide more timely warning. Abstract Microseismic (MS) events have been reported in nearly every coal mining country, which could well lead to rock burst in underground coal mines.

The rate of felt earthquakes in Kansas increased dramatically in 2014, where most seismicity initially occurred in southern Kansas, and was attributed to large-volume wastewater disposal (WD) near the Oklahoma-Kansas border.

We explore the role of earthquake interactions during an injection‐induced seismic sequence. We propose a model, which considers both a transient pressure and static stress redistribution due to event interactions as triggering mechanisms. By calibrating

Electro-Magnetic Earthquake Bursts and Critical Rupture of Peroxy Bond Networks in Rocks
We propose a mechanism for the low frequency electromagnetic emissions and other electromagnetic phenomena which have been associated with earthquakes. The mechanism combines the critical earthquake concept and the concept of crust acting as a charging ...

Reduced Injection Rates and Shallower Depths Mitigated Induced Seismicity in Oklahoma
The proximity of wastewater disposal to the Precambrian basement is a critical factor influencing induced earthquake rates in the Central United States, but the impact of reducing injection depths has not been widely demonstrated.

Decomposing significant factors of Coulomb stress and its components in injection-induced seismicity
Injection-induced seismicity has been a focus of industry for decades as it poses great challenges to the associated risk mitigation and hazard assessment.

Joint orientation significantly affects P‐wave velocity, with the highest velocity at zero‐degree angles, decreasing to 30° as the angle increases. The velocity increases slightly from 30 to 45 degrees but sharply decreases from 45 to 90 degrees. Abstract Determination of the required parameters in different science contexts using the ultrasonic wave ...
