EEMD-based notch filter for induction machine bearing faults detection
, 2018This paper deals with induction machine bearing faults detection based on an empirical mode decomposition approach combined to a statistical tool. In particular, it is proposed an innovative fault detector that is based on the dominant intrinsic mode ...

A detailed spiral vector model of the dual-stator brushless doubly fed induction machine is developed, which unifies the steady-state and dynamic analysis into a single-phase basis through introducing complex exponential variables. The modeling method is

A model of computation, the so-called inductive Turing machine, is introduced. In this model, a process of ''computation'' is not required to halt for giving the result. The ''computation capacity'' of inductive T- machines is shown to be strictly stronger than that of usual Turing machines.

A novel type of a.c. machine is described which has an asynchronous mode of operation but which does not rely on induced currents or losses in the rotor. It has a polyphase stator winding and a laminated rotor with `directional' magnetic properties, and thus closely resembles a reluctance motor.

Highly Accurate Machine Fault Diagnosis Using Deep Transfer Learning
IEEE Transactions on Industrial Informatics, 2019We develop a novel deep learning framework to achieve highly accurate machine fault diagnosis using transfer learning to enable and accelerate the training of deep neural network. Compared with existing methods, the proposed method is faster to train and

Induction machine rapid performance tests
2017 IEEE Energy Conversion Congress and Exposition (ECCE), 2017This paper proposes a novel technique that can significantly reduce the time required for induction machines full-load performance test by using the direct dynamometer tests of IEEE Std 112-B. The proposed technique needs only 30-min of a machine run under the full-load condition.
