Selenium‐Based Nanoplatforms: An Emerging Theranostic Paradigm for Gynecological Cancers

open access: yesAdvanced Science, Volume 13, Issue 33, 15 June 2026.
This reivew summarizes Selenium as a multifunctional anticancer regulator in gynecological cancers. It reduces tumor risk, enhances therapeutic efficacy, and reduces treatment toxicity. Selenium also overcomes chemoraditherapy resistance, improving overall treatment outcomes. ABSTRACT Gynecological cancers present significant therapeutic challenges due

Osteogenic Differentiation Induced by Dental Pulp Stem Cells Secretome: A Dose‐Dependent Comparative Study

open access: yesClinical and Experimental Dental Research, Volume 12, Issue 3, June 2026.
ABSTRACT Objectives To investigate the effects of dental pulp stem cell‐derived conditioned medium (DPSC‐CM) on the proliferation, migration, and osteogenic differentiation of periodontal ligament stem cells (PDLSCs). Primary goals were to (i) identify the optimal DPSC‐CM' concentration and (ii) evaluate its effect both independently (under Growth ...

Climatic, lithologic and topographic control on alpine rock fracturing and talus evolution

open access: yesEarth Surface Processes and Landforms, Volume 51, Issue 6, June 2026.
Investigating Holocene rockwall–talus systems in an Alpine valley revealed that lithologic and topographic conditions in concert with climatic‐driven stresses and time since deglaciation result in rockwall fracture patterns that control rockfall size, erosion rates and the characteristics and evolution of talus.

Integrin α5β1‐mediated multicellular crosstalk in the tumor microenvironment drives bladder cancer progression and reveals targetable vulnerabilities

open access: yesiMetaOmics, Volume 3, Issue 2, June 2026.
Integrating multiplexed immunofluorescence, animal models, and clinical samples, our single‐cell and spatial atlas maps tumor microenvironment evolution during bladder cancer (BCa) progression. We reveal that stemness‐associated tumor cells (SDC1+), POSTN+ myofibroblastic cancer‐associated fibroblasts (mCAFs), and immunosuppressive monocytic myeloid ...

Exploring Perceptions of Plastic Pollution Amongst Subsistence Livestock Farmers in Subtropical Rural Communities

open access: yesThe Geographical Journal, Volume 192, Issue 2, June 2026.
Short Abstract The analysis revealed that farmers in South Africa are aware of the negative impacts of plastic pollution on livestock health; however, they are constrained by a lack of waste management services, land shortages, livestock theft, climate change and limited veterinary services.

Patients' Experiences With Complete Tooth Loss and Conventional Complete Dentures Use: A Phenomenological Study

open access: yesGerodontology, Volume 43, Issue 2, Page 261-271, June 2026.
ABSTRACT Objective To explore the in‐depth experiences of individuals who have lived with edentulism and have long‐term experience with conventional complete dentures. Background With the global rise in ageing populations, complete tooth loss (edentulism) and the subsequent use of dental prostheses have become increasingly common.

Equity in Evacuation Planning and Mitigation: Implications of Transportation Infrastructure and Social Vulnerability

open access: yesGrowth and Change, Volume 57, Issue 2, June 2026.
ABSTRACT This research addresses a critical but underexamined challenge in disaster preparedness: the identification of neighborhoods where evacuation is hardest to accomplish based on physical infrastructure constraints as well as inherent social vulnerability. Existing evacuation approaches emphasize the flow of traffic and the capacity of roads, but
