A closed form solution for characterizing voltage-based signals in an RLC tree is presented. The closed form solution is used to derive figures of merit to characterize the effects of inductance at a specific node in an RLC tree. The effective damping factor of the signal at a specific node in an RLC tree is shown to be one useful figure of merit.

On-board effective inductance measurement

A simple technique for effective spiral inductance measurement with nano henry sensitivity is presented. This on-board technique is based upon a differential test pattern design. Only a DC voltmeter and a current meter are needed for its measurement.

Several peroxisome proliferators enhance CYP1A1 activity, but the mechanisms involved in this enhancement remain unknown. In this study, we examined the effect of troglitazone, a peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor-gamma (PPAR-gamma) agonist, on CYP1A1 gene expression and explored the mechanisms involved in these effects.
