Engineering Metal‐Pocket Cooperativity in Single‐Atom COF Nanozymes for Selective Cascade Catalysis

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
A multilevel programming strategy is developed to engineer single‐atom COF nanozymes with tunable metal centers and chiral pockets inspired by heme–pocket cooperativity. This approach enables controlled metal–pocket interplay for asymmetric cascade catalysis, delivering high activity, selectivity, and recyclability in an asymmetric oxidation–aldol ...

Chapter 16 Magneto - Inductive Waveguide Devices

open access: yes, 2011
the previous chapters we have introduced the concepts of magneto-inductive waves and showed that unless they are terminated properly, there will be signal reflections in the waveguide.

Deterministic Field‐Free Switching of Perpendicular Magnetization by Bulk Mirror Symmetry Broken Bi1−xSbx (012) with High Spin Hall Conductivity

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Crystal orientation and domain engineering enable bulk mirror symmetry breaking in Bi1−xSbx, resulting in ultralow current‐induced switching of perpendicular magnetization without an external field. By exploiting single‐domain Bi1−xSbx (012), the authors demonstrate an out‐of‐plane spin Hall conductivity of ∼1.12×105ℏ2eΩ−1m−1$ \sim \!1.12 \ensuremath ...

Interactive Inductive Learning System

open access: yes
Inductive learning system learns classification from training examples and uses induced rules for classifying new instances. If a decision cannot be inferred from system rule base, a default rule is usually applied.

Identifying abnormal traffic congestion on non-signalised urban roads using journey time estimation

open access: yes, 2002
This paper describes a technique for estimating vehicle journey times on non-signalised roads using 250-ms digital loop-occupancy data produced by single inductive loop detectors.

Deeply Semantic Inductive Spatio-Temporal Learning

open access: yes, 2016
We present an inductive spatio-temporal learning framework rooted ininductive logic programming. With an emphasis on visuo-spatial language, logic, and cognition, the framework supports learning with relational spatio-temporalfeatures identifiable in a ...

Side‐Chain‐Induced Interlayer Slipping in Metalloporphyrin COFs Enables Microenvironment and Spin‐State Regulation for Photocatalytic CO2 Reduction

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Alkoxy chain length drives a continuous transition from eclipsed AA to a serrated, slipped AA* configuration over Co‐porphyrin COFs. A moderate slip both contracts the pore channel to enrich CO2 and suppress hydrogen evolution, and enhances collective high‐spin of Co sites, which delivers a record CO production rate with high selectivity.

Hierarchical Flexible Ceramic Nanofiber Membrane for Simultaneous Membrane Distillation and Photocatalytic Hydrogen Evolution

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
A hierarchical flexible ceramic nanofiber membrane integrates a La‐stabilized ZrO2 scaffold with superhydrophobic UiO‐66‐NH2/CdS heterojunctions. The gas–liquid–solid interfacial architecture sustains vapor‐selective desalination, visible‐light charge separation, and rapid H2 extraction, enabling simultaneous freshwater production and photocatalytic ...

Decoding Synergistic Pathways in Bimetallic MOFs for Advanced Oxidation Processes

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
This review presents a unified framework linking metal pairing and framework design with electronic structure, redox cycling, oxidant activation, reactive‐species generation, and catalytic performance across photocatalytic and oxidant‐based BMOF‐AOPs. The resulting design principles guide the development of hydrolytically stable and efficient BMOFs for
