Improved Efficiency of Two‐Stage Partial Power Processing Architectures for Inductive Power Transfer

open access: yesIET Power Electronics, Volume 19, Issue 1, January/December 2026.
This paper proposes a high‐efficiency two‐stage inductive power transfer (IPT) system with partial power processing to reduce energy losses in conventional cascaded architectures. By processing only partial power through the DC/DC converter, the system minimizes losses, lowers component stress, and improves power density.

Design and Optimisation for Hybrid Inductive and Capacitive Wireless Power Transfer System Considering Coupler Misalignment

open access: yesIET Power Electronics, Volume 19, Issue 1, January/December 2026.
The fishbone‐type capacitive coupler in the HWPT system can effectively restrict the flow path of eddy currents, thereby weakening the effect of the eddy current magnetic field. ABSTRACT The hybrid inductive and capacitive wireless power transfer (HWPT) system is confronted with the dual challenges of the eddy current effect brought by the integration ...

Understanding Drivers of Sustained Engagement in SMS‐Based Nutrition Programmes: A Realist Evaluation With an Equity Lens in Tanzania

open access: yesMaternal &Child Nutrition, Volume 21, Issue 4, October 2025.
ABSTRACT Child undernutrition remains a global challenge, intricately linked to systemic inequities in access to maternal and child health and nutrition (MCHN) services. While SMS‐based behaviour change communication (BCC) offers a scalable strategy to address this challenge, its effectiveness is often undermined by low and inconsistent user engagement.
