Electrically‐Driven 2D Semiconductor Microcavity Laser

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
The first electrically‐driven 2D semiconductor microcavity laser is achieved at room temperature under AC voltage driving conditions. The demonstration of the compact 2D TMDC laser establishes a new area of research to assist with the implementation of diverse 2D material‐based practical photonic devices and integrated circuits in the future.

Magnetocrystalline Anisotropic Platinum–Palladium–Iron Ternary Intermetallic Alloy for Enhanced Fuel Cell Electrocatalysis

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
In this study, how crystallographic anisotropy governs the catalytic process is investigated by comparing the tetragonal L10 and cubic L12 ordered phases in a newly developed PtPdFe ternary intermetallic system. New insights into the fundamental understanding of the ordered Pt‐based ternary intermetallic alloys are introduced, unveiling ...

Confining Quantum Dots Within Covalent Organic Framework Cages for Coupled CO2 Photoreduction and Value‐Added Chemical Synthesis

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
A 3D/0D S‐scheme heterojunction photocatalyst is constructed by spatially confining ZnSe quantum dots within covalent organic framework (COF) porous cages, enabling coupled CO2 photoreduction and value‐added chemical synthesis. COF porous cages serve as nanoreactors, enriching reactant concentrations, and the S‐scheme heterojunction facilitates charge ...

Harnessing the Potential of Dip‐Pen Nanolithography to Pattern Meta‐Chemical Surfaces with Glutathione Inks: An Electrochemical Sensor for Pb(II) and Hg(II)

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Interfaces, EarlyView.
Meta‐chemical surfaces for portable electrochemical sensors are developed using the DPN method. Sensitivity is influenced by the exposed surface, pattern pitch, and binding strength between the ligand and cations. Therefore, it can be regulated by altering these parameters, which is a significant result in the heavy‐metal sensor field.
