Thermally Reconstructed Ru/La‐Co3O4 Nanosheets with Super Thermal Stability for Catalytic Combustion of Light Hydrocarbons: Induced Surface LaRuO3 Active Phase

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
The high‐temperature induced the exsolution of La from La‐Co3O4 lattice and facilitated the in situ formation of highly active LaRuO3 perovskite through a solid‐phase reaction with surface RuOx. This process significantly enhanced the thermal and hydrothermal stability of Ru/La‐Co3O4 for light hydrocarbons (LHs) oxidation, providing an innovative ...

Laser Ultrafast Confined Alloying of Sub‐5 nm RuM (M = Cu, Rh, and Pd) Particles on Carbon Nanotubes for Hydrogen Evolution Reaction

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
In this work, the synthesis of carbon nanotubes (CNTs) supported sub‐5 nm dominant intermetallic RuCu, RuRh, and RuPd NPs are succeeded by the proposed method of nanosecond laser ultrafast confined alloying (LUCA), which is featured by its unique ultrafast heating and cooling rates and high stability for long‐term alkaline HER catalysis application ...

Novel Gas Sensor Signal Acquisition Method: Amplifying Sensor Signals and Enabling Efficient Gas Identification

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study presents a novel method to improve sensitivity and gas identification in resistive gas sensors by dividing operation into reaction and signal detection phases. The reaction phase optimizes chemisorption, while the signal detection phase, using a read‐bias technique, enhances sensitivity.

Accelerating Electrochemical Responses of Na4VMn(PO4)3 via Bulk‐Defects and Architecture Engineering for High‐Performance Sodium‐Ion Batteries

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
The poor electronic conductivity and intrinsic Jahn–Teller distortion in NASICON‐type Na4VMn(PO4)3(NVMP) led to insufficient capacity delivery and sluggish Na+ diffusion. Herein, a multiscale integration strategy is proposed to construct a unique 3D nanorod cathode enriched with V/O defects by utilizing DMF as a solvent.
