Semantic analysis of inductive reasoning
A semantic model of inductive reasoning is presented. The starting point is a general schema: ''given background knowledge K and an observational statement S, a sentence H is an inductive hypothesis for S with respect to K iff H is a generalization of S, and H is consistent with K''.

Two microwave‐assisted synthetic methods, specifically a one‐pot and a seeded‐growth approach, are developed within a hydroalcoholic solution for the growth of single‐phase ternary WxTi1‐xO2 and heterostructured TiO2‐WO3‐x colloidal nanocrystals. Both types of nanocrystals show significant photocatalytic activity for 4‐methoxybenzyl alcohol oxidation ...

A strategy utilizing high‐energy ion beam technology to engineer defects in layered double hydroxide (LDH) nanosheets enables the high loading of non‐noble metal Mo single atoms. The synergistic effect between oxygen vacancies and single atoms promotes a novel mechanism for lattice oxygen activation, thereby significantly enhancing the oxygen evolution

Backward induction reasoning beyond backward induction
Backward Induction is a fundamental concept in game theory. As an algorithm, it can only be used to analyze a very narrow class of games, but its logic is also invoked, albeit informally, in several solution concepts for games with imperfect or incomplete informa-tion (Subgame Perfect Equilibrium, Sequential Equilibrium, etc.). Yet, the very meaning of

Nanozyme‐Integrated Hydrogel Targeting AGEs for Diabetic Osteoarthritis Therapy
A nanozyme–integrated hydrogel (PTC‐MP) exhibiting with mild photothermal effects is constructed, and a “3R” (restrain‐restore‐reinforce) strategy is proposed for diabetic osteoarthritis (DOA) treatment based on advanced glycation end products (AGEs) targeting.
