Inductive Tracking Methodology for Wireless Sensors in Photoreactors [PDF]
In this paper, we present a methodology for locating wireless sensors for the use in photoreactors. Photoreactors are, e.g., used to cultivate photosynthetic active microorganisms. For measuring important parameters like, e.g., the temperature inside the reactor, sensors are needed.

Vehicle Classification Using the Discrete Fourier Transform with Traffic Inductive Sensors
Inductive Loop Detectors (ILDs) are the most commonly used sensors in traffic management systems. This paper shows that some spectral features extracted from the Fourier Transform (FT) of inductive signatures do not depend on the vehicle speed.

Pathways and pitfalls: a qualitative study of student experiences in biomedical science education
Biomedical science students from underrepresented backgrounds face barriers including financial strain, disrupted laboratory access and cultural exclusion. Peer networks provide vital support when institutional systems are difficult to navigate. To create inclusive learning environments and achieve academic success, educators should blend active, hands‐

Salinity determinations are usually made indirectly, measuring electrical conductivity, which depends on salinity and temperature. Unusual conductivity and salinity are indicative of pollution, regardless anthropogenic or natural sources. Aquatic species adapt to specific salinity levels.
