Conceptual design of inductive magnetic sensors using photolithography processes

open access: yesFusion Engineering and Design
Inductive magnetic sensors are needed for the operation of fusion devices to monitor high frequency (HF) fluctuations and as a back-up to the low-frequency (LF, still inductive) magnetic sensors used for the measurements leading to the reconstruction of ...

Current Sensor with low inductance

2019 20th International Scientific Conference on Electric Power Engineering (EPE), 2019
This paper deals with design of current sensor introducing low inductance. The sensor is designed for a current up to 500 A and 120 kHz. Since the market offers several types of sensors suitable for the targeted application, they usually have problems with measured signal postprocessing.

Pulse induction parking sensor

2016 IEEE SENSORS, 2016
This paper presents a pulse induction parking sensor, which measures the induced voltage generated by the presence of a vehicle. The parking information can be then shared into a network to inform the drivers about the on-street parking availability.

A new electronic interface for inductive sensors

2015 10th Asian Control Conference (ASCC), 2015
A new electronic interface for inductive sensors is presented. The proposed circuit is basically a current-feedback operational-amplifier (CFOA)-based sinusoidal oscillator circuit. The circuit uses only one externally connected inductor and exploits to advantage the internal poles of the CFOA.

High-Sensitivity Inductive Pressure Sensor

IEEE Transactions on Instrumentation and Measurement, 2011
A new type of pressure sensors with extremely high sensitivity is introduced. Unlike piezoresistive, capacitive, and linear-variable-differential-transformer-based pressure sensors, the new sensor is based on a technique for substantially changing the inductance of a coil. The prototype device has demonstrated a change in inductance of approximately 34.

A readout system for inductive position sensors

2007 18th European Conference on Circuit Theory and Design, 2007
The readout electronics for contact-less inductive position sensors are currently based on discrete solutions. To enhance overall system performance, the implementation of the readout electronics into a single ASIC is desirable. This paper discusses the key system blocks of the analog front-end.
