Capillary Electrophoresis-Inductively Coupled Plasma Mass Spectrometry
2016During the recent years, capillary electrophoresis (CE) has been fully established as a powerful tool in separation sciences as well as in element speciation. This road of success is based on the rapid analysis time, low sample requirements, high separation efficiency, and low operating costs of CE. Inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (ICP-MS)

Mass Spectrometry of Inductively Coupled Plasmas
Analytical Chemistry, 1986The alliance of the ICP with MS shows promise of extending the sensitivity and selectivity of MS to elemental analysis of solutions. Some additional areas of research interest for ICP-MS include the following: its use as an element and isotope selective detector for chromatography, flow injection analysis, laser ablation, and other sample introduction ...

Laser-ablation inductively-coupled plasma mass spectrometry
Analytical and Bioanalytical Chemistry, 2001Laser ablation inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (LA-ICP-MS) has become one of the most widely applied techniques for direct solid analysis. This article describes the working principle, instrumentation, fundamental aspects of the ablation process, quantification strategies, and typical figures of merit of this technique.

Inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry‐based immunoassay: A review
Mass Spectrometry Reviews, 2013AbstractThe last 10 years witnessed the emerging and growing up of inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (ICPMS)‐based immunoassay. Its high sensitivity and multiplex potential have made ICPMS a revolutionary technique for bioanalyte quantification after element‐tagged immunoassay.

Neon Inductively Coupled Plasma for Laser Ablation-Inductively Coupled Plasma-Mass Spectrometry
Applied Spectroscopy, 2002The use of a neon inductively coupled plasma (Ne ICP) in place of an argon inductively coupled plasma (Ar ICP) for laser ablation microprobe-inductively coupled plasma-mass spectrometry (LAM-ICP-MS) is demonstrated. Gas blank mass spectra were obtained comparing the signals obtained with an Ar ICP with the Ne ICP.

Environmental analysis by inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry
Mass Spectrometry Reviews, 2009AbstractThis article reviews the numerous ways in which inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry has been used for the analysis of environmental samples since it was commercially introduced in 1983. Its multielemental isotopic capability, high sensitivity and wide linear dynamic range makes it ideally suited for environmental analysis.

[17] Inductively coupled plasma-mass spectrometry
1988Publisher Summary This chapter describes the technique and its potential pitfalls as it applies to elemental and isotopic analysis of elements generally of interest to the biochemist. Inductively, coupled plasma-mass spectrometry (ICP-MS) is an instrumental technique for elemental and isotopic analysis. The commercial ICP-mass spectrometers show that
