A strongly correlated electron system (SCES) exhibits pronounced insulating behavior due to Coulombic repulsion between cations, which generates a charge gap. This study investigates the tuning of the band structure in NiWO4‐based SCES via Cu doping at substitutional sites and Li doping at interstitial sites.

Acetylene - Argon Plasmas Measured at a Biased Substrate Electrode for Diamond-Like Carbon Deposition. Part 1: Mass Spectroscopy [PDF]
We report, for the first time, quadrupole mass spectrometry of neutral and positive ionic hydrocarbon species measured at the rf biased substrate electrode of an inductively coupled plasma for acetylene rich C2H2:Ar mixtures under various bias, frequency and pressure conditions.

Development of a method to measure trace level of uranium and thorium in scintillation films [PDF]
We have established a method to measure picograms-per-gram (pg g$^{-1}$) levels of $^{238}$U and $^{232}$Th in scintillation films by combining the dry ashing method and inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry. Trace amounts of $^{238}$U and $^{232}$Th were measured in up to 2~g of the scintillation film with almost 100% collection efficiency ...

Inductively Coupled Plasma Mass Spectrometry A Review
Inductively coupled plasma-mass spectrometry is a rapidly growing technique for multi-elemental analysis. In this review, instrumental developments, analytical performance and applications of this method achieved recently are described. Ion sampling interface, ion lens systems and various sample introduction systems are discussed.

HKUST‐1/TiO2 composite materials show a very high photocatalytic hydrogen evolution rate which increases as a function of the irradiation time until reaching a plateau and even surpasses the performance of the 1%Pt/TiO2 material after three photocatalytic cycles.

Enrichment of the Superheavy Element Rg in Natural Au [PDF]
Based on the observation of the long-lived isotopes 261Rg and 265Rg (Z = 111, t(1/2) >= 10^(8) y) in natural Au, an experiment was performed to enrich Rg in 99.999% Au. 16 mg of Au were heated in vacuum for two weeks at a temperature of 1127 deg. C (63 deg. C above the melting point of Au). The content of 197Au and 261Rg in the residue was studied with
