Industrial Accidents in the Construction Industry
Scandinavian Journal of Social Medicine, 1974In this investigation, accidents in the Swedish construction industry in 1967 leading to permanent disability or death were studied. The aims were to illustrate the magnitude of the problem and to create a basis of decision for the taking of preventive measures. The population consisted of nearly 400 cases.

I've just come back from the 45th Annual Meeting of the Association for Computational Linguistics (ACL) in Prague; this was the biggest ever ACL conference, with more than 1,000 people attending for the first time. Attendance at ACL conferences has been growing year on year, and that is a sign of a healthy field.
