Current Tracking Adaptive Control of Brushless DC Motors

open access: yesInternational Journal of Adaptive Control and Signal Processing, EarlyView.
In this paper, the current tracking for Brushless Direct Current motors is approached considering uncertainty in the parameters of the motor's model. An adaptive control scheme to compensate electrical parameters uncertainty is proposed without requiring any knowledge of the mechanical parameters.

Imaging of Biphoton States: Fundamentals and Applications

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Quantum states of two photons exhibit a rich polarization and spatial structure, which provides a fundamental resource of strongly correlated and entangled states. This review analyzes the physics of these intriguing properties and explores the various techniques and technologies available to measure them, including the state of the art of their ...

The Cuttlebone Blueprint for Multifunctional Metamaterials: Design Taxonomy, Functional Decoupling, and Future Horizons

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Cuttlebone‐inspired metamaterials exploit a septum‐wall architecture to achieve excellent mechanical and functional properties. This review classifies existing designs into direct biomimetic, honeycomb‐type, and strut‐type architectures, summarizes governing design principles, and presents a decoupled design framework for interpreting multiphysical ...

About the sharpness of the Jensen inequality

open access: yesJournal of Inequalities and Applications, 2018
The main aim of this paper is to give an improvement of the recent result on the sharpness of the Jensen inequality. The results given here are obtained using different Green functions and considering the case of the real Stieltjes measure, not ...

Integral Inequalities Involving Strongly Convex Functions

open access: yesJournal of Function Spaces, 2018
We study the notions of strongly convex function as well as F-strongly convex function. We present here some new integral inequalities of Jensen’s type for these classes of functions.

New Ostrowski like inequalities involving the functions having harmonic h-convexity property and applications

open access: yesJournal of Mathematical Inequalities, 2019
. Some new Ostrowski type inequalities are established for the class of harmonic h - convex functions. Several new and known special cases, which can be derived from our main results, are also discussed.

Refinements of some fractional integral inequalities involving extended convex functions and fractional Caputo derivatives

open access: yesJournal of Inequalities and Applications
This article examines famous fractional Hermite–Hadamard integral inequalities through the applications of fractional Caputo derivatives and extended convex functions. We develop modifications involving two known classical fractional extended versions of
