An Integral Inequality for Derivatives of Equimeasurable Rearrangements
Let \(f\) be a Lebesgue measurable and a.e. finite function on the interval \(I=[0,1]\); set \(d(y)=m \{x;f(x)>y\}\), here \(m\) is the Lebesgue measure on the real line \(\mathbb{R}\). Then the rearrangement \(f^*\) of \(f\) is defined on \(I\) by \(f^*(x) = \inf \{y:d(y) \leq x\}\) if \(0 \leq x0\), \(V(\delta;f^*) \leq V(\delta;f)\) (for a function \

The psychosocial toll of Dublin III on asylum seekers in the Netherlands
Abstract The Dublin III Regulation determines which EU Member State is responsible for examining asylum claims, but its implementation carries significant consequences for those subjected to it. This study examines how Dublin III, as implemented in the Netherlands, affects asylum seekers' psychosocial wellbeing using Silove′s Adaptation and Development

Inequalities for a Polynomial and Its Derivative II
[For part I \textit{M. Bidkham} and the author in J. Math. Anal. Appl. 166, No. 2, 319-324 (1992; Zbl 0751.30001).] Let \(p(z)\) be a polynomial of degree \(n\) and let \(M(p,r) = \max_{|z |= r} |p(z) |\). The author proves that if \(p(z)\) has no zeros in \(|z |< K\), \(K \geq 1\), and \(p^{(k)} (0) = 0\) for \(1 \leq k \leq \mu\) with \(0 < \mu < n\)

Abstract Community action focused on sociocultural and environmental influences to prevent alcohol and other drug (AOD) use and related harms is a global priority. Despite this recognition, understanding of effective community‐level approaches is limited.

Abstract This study employs a schizocartographic approach to explore community narratives of space, memory, and violence in Kraaifontein, Cape Town. Through participants' accounts, ordinary places—gardens, shops, blocks, sports grounds, and streets—emerge as ambivalent geographies where trauma, resilience, and belonging intersect.

ABSTRACT This study aims to prospectively collect harmonized, quantitative, and dimensional psychiatric phenotypes (suicidality, anhedonia, and obsessive‐compulsive symptoms) and information on discrimination, stigma, and unfair treatment in up to 27,500 individuals across diverse ancestries and clinical populations for genetic analysis within the NIMH

Inequalities similar to Opial's inequality involving higher order derivatives
In this paper we establish some new inequalities similar to Opial's inequality involving functions and their higher order derivatives. The analysis used in the proofs is elementary and our results provide a new range of nequalities of this type.

The Insistence of Blackness and the Persistence of Antiblackness in Ireland
ABSTRACT This paper positions Ireland as a critical site for examining the insistence of blackness and an antiblackness created and sustained through Irish ethnonationalist imaginaries and exclusionary processes. Drawing on connected sociologies and Irish Black Studies, this enquiry argues that antiblackness in Ireland operates as a generational force,

Inequalities for the derivative and polar derivative of lacunary polynomials
Summary: In this paper, we study lacunary polynomials of degree \(n\) having \(s\)-fold zeros at the origin and the remaining zeros lying on or outside the boundary of a prescribed disk. This study in turns gives generalizations and improvements of some well-known results.

ABSTRACT The Australian paid parental leave (PPL) government scheme aims to support working parents through financial assistance and the promotion of gender equality in caregiving responsibilities. However, the scheme's implementation has been critiqued for its gendered design, which marginalises fathers and reinforces traditional gender roles.
