Arbitrary Inequality in Reputation Systems [PDF]
AbstractTrust is an essential condition for exchange. Large societies must substitute the trust traditionally provided through kinship and sanctions in small groups to make exchange possible. The rise of internet-supported reputation systems has been celebrated for providing trust at a global scale, enabling the massive volumes of transactions between ...

Nonholonomic Systems with Inequality Constraints
In this paper we derive the equations of motion for nonholonomic systems subject to inequality constraints, both, in continuous-time and discrete-time. The last is done by discretizing the continuous time-variational principle which defined the equations of motion for a nonholonomic system subject to inequality constraints.

Systems of Inequalities and Numerical Semigroups [PDF]
A one‐to‐one correspondence is described between the set S(m) of numerical semigroups with multiplicity m and the set of non‐negative integer solutions of a system of linear Diophantine inequalities. This correspondence infers in S(m) a semigroup structure and the resulting semigroup is isomorphic to a subsemigroup of Nm−1.

On systems of linear inequalities [PDF]
Summary: We show in detail that the category of general Roth systems or the category of semi-stable systems of linear inequalities of slope zero is a neutral Tannakian category. On the way, we present a new proof of the semi-stability of the tensor product of semi-stable systems.

Income Inequality and Self-Reported Values [PDF]
This paper offers a comprehensive econometric investigation of the impact of income inequality on the values endorsed by people. Using survey data from all thirty-four OECD countries over a period of almost thirty years, the following dimensions of value

Controlled Invariant Sets of Discrete-Time Linear Systems with Bounded Disturbances
This paper proposes two novel methods for computing the robustly controlled invariant set of linear discrete-time systems with additive bounded disturbances.

Theories and Inequalities on the Satellite System [PDF]
We define the satellite system without any central, the satellite system with a central, and the satellite system of single point with a central. For the satellite system without any central S{Γ,ΓN}, we establish the inequality: ∮Γds∮ΓN|PQ|dsQ≤(N|Γ|3/4π2)sin(2π/N).
