On Perturbations in Systems of Linear Inequalities
SIAM Journal on Numerical Analysis, 1973We consider what happens to sets defined by systems of linear inequalities when elements of the system are perturbed. If $S = \{ x|Gx \leqq g,Dx = d\} $, and if ${S'}$ and ${S''}$ are defined in the obvious manner by perturbed matrices $G',G'',g',g'',D',D'',d',d''$, we show that, under certain hypotheses, to each element ${x'}$ in ${S'}$ there ...

Inequalities in De Morgan systems. II
2002 IEEE World Congress on Computational Intelligence. 2002 IEEE International Conference on Fuzzy Systems. FUZZ-IEEE'02. Proceedings (Cat. No.02CH37291), 2003For pt.I see ibid., p.607-9(2002). Turksen (1986) looked at the Boolean-disjunctive normal form of a term in two variables and the Boolean-conjunctive normal form of that term. He concluded that "for some cases of certain families," when these forms are interpreted in a De Morgan system by replacing the meet by a t-norm and the join by the dual t ...

Approximations to Solutions to Systems of Linear Inequalities
SIAM Journal on Matrix Analysis and Applications, 1995\textit{A. J. Hoffman}'s inequality [J. Res. Nat. Bur. Stoch. 49, 263--265 (1952; M.R. 14, 455)] about approximate solutions to systems of linear inequalities has many applications in optimization, perturbation theory and sensitivity analysis. It has been widely studied and constantly improved. This paper is one of such latest improvements.

Polarities Given by Systems of Bilinear Inequalities
Mathematics of Operations Research, 1983We extend the concept of polar pairs of cones to polyhedra using binary relations given by systems of bilinear inequalities. In particular we consider those which give natural generalizations of the theory of blocking and antiblocking of Fulkerson. These extensions preserve the important relations between vertices and facets of polar pairs

Approximate Solutions of Analytic Inequality Systems
SIAM Journal on Optimization, 2000Summary: We consider the stability problem for a system of equalities and inequalities. We prove that when such a system is satisfied approximately at a certain point, it is also satisfied exactly on a nearby point.

Systems of \(k\) Boolean inequations
J. Multiple Valued Log. Soft Comput., 2015Summary: The problem of solving generalized systems of Boolean equations is open. One part of this problem is to solve the system of \(k\) Boolean inequations. In this paper we give all the solutions of the system of \(k\) Boolean inequations.

Globalisation, Productive Systems, and Inequalities [PDF]
Using the idea that the division of labor is limited not only by the extent of the market but also by its heterogeneity, it is proposed in this paper that 'globalisation' is redrawing the lines of division within and between countries. Our model builds on the concept of productive systems.

Some inequalities for a multiphase system.
1982The paper contains some estimates of a capacity of multiphase (tandem) queueing systems having limited intermediate queues. A demand served in a previous phase cannot be set free if there are no places in the following queue (a blocking effect). It is proved that a value T exists such that if the intensity of the demand flow is less than \(T^{-1}\), a ...
