Simulation of powerline communication with OMNeT++ and INET-Framework
2011 IEEE International Symposium on Power Line Communications and Its Applications, 2011This paper presents the work that is done embedded in the EEnergy project [1] “E-DeMa” [2] to simulate powerline communication systems (PLC) for access and inhouse applications in a smart grid scenario. The simulation is implemented in a C++ builder using OMNeT++ [3] and its sub module INET [4]. OMNeT is an event based network simulation tool, and INET

Design and evaluation of host identity protocol (HIP) simulation framework for INET/OMNeT++
Proceedings of the 12th ACM international conference on Modeling, analysis and simulation of wireless and mobile systems, 2009Host Identity Protocol (HIP) decouples IP addresses from higher layer Internet applications by proposing a new, cryptographic namespace for host identities. HIP has great potential in means of mobility and multihoming support, security, and performance, such making it quite a promising candidate as the basic architecture of the Future Internet. However,

In order to perform a simulative evaluation of the Hierarchical Mobile IPv6 protocol (HMIPv6) OMNeT++ simulation environment was used. OMNeT++ simulation package - INET framework and xMIPv6 was enhanced with an extension for HMIPv6, which includes Neighbor Discovery protocol, IPv6 router and the implementation of a Mobility Anchor Point (MAP).
