The growing use of artificial intelligence technologies in inventions has significantly increased the number of AI‐involved patent applications. This trend has prompted a reassessment of the boundaries defining excluded subject matter in patent law, as exemplified in Emotional Perception AI v Comptroller‐General of Patents, Designs and Trade Marks ...

The mechanism of the cobalt oxide‐hydroxide redox system is elucidated with square‐wave voltammetry and cyclic voltammetry. Since the cobalt oxide‐hydroxide deposits are films of certain thickness, markers derived from unique features in square‐wave voltammetry are provided to identify thin‐film behavior and characterize the cobalt oxide‐hydroxide ...

Linking the Flow Regime of Papyrus‐Dominated Wetlands to Biologically Relevant Hydrologic Attributes
ABSTRACT The dominant plant species in many African wetlands is Cyperus papyrus. Its adaptation to saturated and low‐oxygen conditions and its dense structure and height provide breeding and feeding grounds for unique flora and fauna. As a keystone species adapted to local hydrology, the flooding regime of papyrus offers the full range of hydrologic ...

In this paper, we propose a channel‐aware and queue‐aware deficit round Robin (CQDRR) scheduling method for different hybrid flows in an integrated TSN‐5G network. The proposed asynchronous CQDRR scheduling algorithm achieves a computational complexity of O(m), making it effective and particularly suitable for scalable TSN‐5G network environments ...

Systemic risk in markets with multiple central counterparties
Abstract We provide a framework for modeling risk and quantifying payment shortfalls in cleared markets with multiple central counterparties (CCPs). Building on the stylized fact that clearing membership is shared among CCPs, we develop a modeling framework that captures the interconnectedness of CCPs and clearing members.

The hybrid sulfur (HyS) cycle is a promising process for “green hydrogen” production. As the hydrogen‐producing step of HyS cycle, SO2‐depolarized electrolysis (SDE) has the advantage of very low theoretical cell potential, while crossover of SO2 and consequent side reactions undermine the purity of hydrogen and the current efficiency.
