Automatic Posture and Movement Tracking of Infants with Wearable Movement Sensors [PDF]
Infants' spontaneous and voluntary movements mirror developmental integrity of brain networks since they require coordinated activation of multiple sites in the central nervous system. Accordingly, early detection of infants with atypical motor development holds promise for recognizing those infants who are at risk for a wide range of ...

Artificially Weaved Textile‐like Surface Micromachined Graphene‐Polymer Flexible Bioelectrodes
This study reports on the engineering of microscale textured surfaces of SU‐8/PMMA polymer composites much like a “weft‐warp” pattern to resemble “artificially‐weaved” textiles. These microstructured surfaces enable conformal layering of functional reduced graphene oxide (rGO), all‐in‐all offering favorable features including remarkable self ...

AQUA‐FINS: Advanced Quantitative Underwater Analysis by a Flexible Integrated Nitrate Sensor
This work presents a flexible, integrated sensor array for real‐time monitoring of nitrate, pH, and temperature in aquaculture. The sensors exhibit high sensitivity and selectivity, while a regression model improves nitrate detection accuracy in dynamic conditions. Successful field deployment of the sensor array highlights its potential for maintaining

Using in situ X‐ray tomography, the phase transformation and microstructural evolution of a copper sulfide cathode in solid‐state batteries is 3D visualized and characterized. Copper inclusions generate after phase transformation and the electrode cracks have a strong preferential orientation within the x‐y plane of the cell.

Application of signal processing techniques in the assessment of clinical risks in preterm infants [PDF]
Preterm infants with very low birth weight suffer from a high risk of intra-ventricular hemorrhage(IVH) and other serious diseases. To improve the clinical risk assessment of preterm infants and develop potential clinically makers for the adverse outcome, the first part of the paper develops the frequency spectral analysis on the non-invasively ...
