Background. Adhesive capsulitis is an inflammatory condition characterized by shoulder stiffness, pain, and significant loss of passive range of motion, with a prevalence of 2% to 5% in the general population. Low-level laser therapy is an adjunct treatment for shoulder rehabilitation. Deep friction massage reduces pain and inflammation.
