[Arthroscopic stabilization of the shoulder with suture anchors with special reference to the deep anterior-inferior portal (5.30 o'clock)]

open access: yes, 2007
OBJECTIVE: Arthroscopic (re)stabilization of the unstable shoulder by anatomic refixation of the detached capsulolabral complex with suture anchors or reduction of excessive capsule volume by capsule plication.

Designing Strong, Tough, Fire‐Retardant and Self‐Healing Elastomers with Phosphorus/Nitrogen‐ and Biphenyl‐Containing Segments

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
By designing a P/N‐ and π–π interacting biphenyl‐containing diol as hard segments but side groups, a strong, tough, fire‐extinguishing and self‐healing elastomer is developed, demonstrating a break strain of ∼2500%, a toughness of 379 MJ/m3 and a tensile strength of 46 MPa, as well as a healing efficiency of 95% (tensile strength) and 99% (break strain)

Arthroscopic autograft reconstruction of the inferior glenohumeral ligament: Exploration of technical feasibility in cadaveric shoulder specimens

open access: yes, 2013
Failure of primary arthroscopic Bankart repair in anterior-inferior glenohumeral instability is low, but in some cases revision surgery is required. Revision procedures show good to excellent results but typically are done open and do not respect the ...

A Unified Polymer Hydrogel Electrolyte Integrating Robust Adhesion, Self‐Healing, and Oxygen Permeability in Flexible Neutral Zn‐Air Batteries

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Flexible neutral Zn‐air batteries achieving a remarkable 3000‐cycle lifespan and withstanding 1000 bending cycles are reported. This performance is realized by employing a 3D physically cross‐linked neutral hydrogel electrolyte that integrates high adhesion, self‐healing, O2 permeability, and CO2 tolerance to resolve critical stability challenges ...

Adhesive Capsulitis of the Shoulder: Evaluation With US-Arthrography Using a Sonographic Contrast Agent

open access: yesScientific Reports, 2017
Adhesive capsulitis (AC) is a painful and disabling disorder, which caused restricted motion and chronic pain of shoulder. Intracavitary contrast-enhanced ultrasound has been recently applied to assess obstructive bile duct diseases, tubal patency ...

Should Pneumococcal Serotype 3 Be Included in Serotype-Specific Immunoassays?

open access: yesVaccines, 2019
Since the introduction of the 13-valent pneumococcal conjugate vaccine, a number of studies have demonstrated the limited efficacy of the pneumococcal serotype 3 component of this vaccine. Evidence from seven countries (Denmark, France, Greece, Portugal,

All‐Polyimide‐Mediated Liquid Metal Assembly on Aerogels for Breathable and Robust Electronic Skins

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
An all‐polyimide‐mediated assembly strategy resolves the fundamental conflict between physiological breathability and electromechanical robustness in wearable electronics. By integrating a polyamic acid‐encapsulated liquid metal ink onto an ultralight polyimide aerogel, imidization‐induced contraction enables low‐temperature conductive activation and ...

A Dual‐Bioresponsive and Programmable Microneedle Matrix as a Bioinspired Coupler for Orchestrating Diabetic Bone Regeneration

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
This project developed a smart bandage‐like patch (a microneedle array) for repairing diabetic bone damage. It intelligently senses signals from infection and inflammation, then releases its medicines in a specific, timed sequence: first an antibacterial agent, then an anti‐inflammatory agent, and finally growth factors.

Conductive Additives for Next‐Generation Batteries: Emphasizing the Potential of Bio‐Derived 3D Carbon Architectures at Electrode–Electrolyte Interfaces

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Interfaces, EarlyView.
3D conductive frameworks can maintain continuous electron transport, mechanical stability, and interfacial integrity, helping next‐generation batteries operate more efficiently. This Review examines their relevance to Si anodes, all‐solid‐state batteries, and dry‐processed electrodes, and highlights bio‐derived carbons as sustainable, structurally ...
