Quasi-Uniform Density Non-Solid Infill Strategy for Axisymmetric Non-Planar Additive Manufacturing
Non-solid infill generation in Non-Planar Additive Manufacturing (NPAM) is still an open problem. This is due to mathematical complexities from curvature distortion, as well as bridging limitations inherent in some NPAM processes. Providing solutions to this problem may result in significant energy, build cycle time, and cost savings.

Abstract Belonostomus longirostrisis was named for an isolated jaw fragment from freshwater Upper Cretaceous (Campanian) sediments of the Dinosaur Park Formation of Alberta, Canada. Following the description of the Albertan species, numerous isolated cranial and postcranial elements have been collected from the Dinosaur Park Formation and assigned to B.

ABSTRACT This paper reports on the excavation of a cache of stone artefacts, buried on the bank of a waterhole or ‘billabong’ in central western Queensland. This is an extremely rare find, and yet it is the second such site to be reported within less than a 10 km radius.

ABSTRACT Shell middens in Gippsland along the eastern half of Victoria's coastline have usually been characterised as small, short‐duration camp sites with relatively low shell densities and low taxonomic diversity. Here we present new excavation results from a dense, high‐diversity site at Red Bluff near the eastern end of GunaiKurnai Country, a ...

Toward Efficient Urban Form in China [PDF]
Land efficiency in urban China is examined, using Tianjin as a case study, from the perspective of agricultural land conservation; reduction in energy use, conventional pollution, and greenhouse gas emissions; and human time savings.

Cutting Through the Green: A Case for Grassland Archaeology Using UAV Multispectral Data
ABSTRACT Advances in low‐altitude remote sensing are needed to improve the effectiveness of archaeological prospection in the Netherlands. The geomorphological situation and land use history make applying various remote sensing and geophysical technologies particularly challenging.

Inference about Realized Volatility using Infill Subsampling [PDF]
We investigate the use of subsampling for conducting inference about the quadratic variation of a discretely observed diffusion process under an infill asymptotic scheme.

ABSTRACT Neolithic long barrows are among the earliest monumental structures in Europe, yet in many parts of Central Europe their surface expression has been largely erased by long‐term agricultural activity. This study evaluates the potential of integrated remote sensing approaches for identifying and contextualizing long barrows and associated ...

Production of 3D printed biomodels of the canine brain for veterinary neuroanatomy teaching
Abstract Teaching neuroanatomy presents multiple challenges to both students and teachers, as it is a subject with highly dense content that commonly causes the development of aversion by students, a phenomenon referred to as “neurophobia,” which has been documented in human and veterinary medicine students.
